My name is Mascha van Heeswijk and I’m an adventurer, fashionlover, travelseeker and wannabe instagirl from the Netherlands with a very strong desire to travel the world.
I’m pretty sure I must have catched the travel bug while I was still in the womb, since I’ve been wanting to travel the world since forever. This is why I decided to take a gap year after graduating from High School (VWO met bloed, zweet en tranen heeuh.)
I wanted to start a blog to update my family and friends once in a while, however I also love the idea of being able to look back myself and to read about all my gap year adventures. It’s kinda my personal diary and scrapbook. Plus these days, it’s almost considered rude to ‘bother’ your fb friends with a billion of your photos on their timelines. So here is my own little place on the web where I can post as many photos as I want. Although, knowing me, I’ll still post a ton of photos on the Instagramss, which is my recent obsession.
Things you might find on here are my crazy India stories where I’ll be doing volunteerwork with streetchildren, posing in front of the Taj Mahal and dealing with holy cows in the middle of the street. My backpack adventures in South-East Asia with raging tuk-tuks, picture perfect palmtrees and full moon parties. My American exchange trip which is all about reunited friendships, New york skylines and insane Disney World rides. My Iceland family road trip with spectacular waterfalls, the magical blue lagoon and offcourse stunning Reykjavik. Whenever I’m not posting about any of my travels, I’ll write about everything else that I’m interested in like fashion, food or lifestyle.
Have fun reading y’alll 🙂
